Throughout the year, 2001

In 2001 we saw a full length work created by and for the Grey Panthers looking at issues that directly affect Seniors. Dear Auntie was a romp through life where the seniors may appear hidden away from society at large, but they are often called on to solve family and community problems. These were Agony Aunts with bite!

Joining the elder Lajamanu Ceremonial Yawulyu dancers, the Grey Panthers also performed in the season of Fierce, the Story of Olive Pink. Tracks artists have been working with both the Grey Panthers and the Lajamanu women since 1988.

One off performances this year included: Palmerston Festival, Darwin Show, Lions Club Christmas Show, Nightcliff Markets, Portrait of A Senior Territorian Launch, and an Ausdance Show Case.
