The proximity to this
region has an interesting effect on Darwin’s residents.
With a similar climate to South East Asia, locals tend
to adopt lifestyle traits more in tune with that region
than to Australia’s south. The proximity to East
Timor, the Philippines and Indonesia gives Territorians
a particular view on things. |
As a company resident in
Darwin that is committed to giving voice to local culture,
Tracks has worked with many cultural groups whose members
were seeking ways to express themselves in a sometimes
new or wider context. |

They have developed a way of working that
builds strong relationships by showing and giving respect
to people, place and spirit.
More recently Tracks has developed ways
of integrating and fusing various cultures in recognition
that our community is made up of people who view this
not as strange, but as a simple fact of life. |
