The humidity rises and those big clouds linger and we know we are coming to the end of another year. Thanks to all our staff and the hundreds of volunteers that have made it all happen.
From the choreographic program
at the beginning of the year…
“True empowerment comes from young people leading young people. Tracks' choreographic
initiative provides this space for leadership and professional
development in a safe yet challenging environment
cultivating the makers and thinkers of the future.”

“The creators of Endurance know this community [Darwin, and are] connected through an inescapable, shared experience.
In knowing their community so well, Tracks Dance continually adds to the unique cultural heritage of the Northern Territory.” Caroline Reid, Lowdown

“Milpirri is about discovering

As one old indigenous man once told us “our past lays in front of us as a path to follow”. We have gathered our history and packaged it into our new
look web site. Now you can read and see pictures of past projects dating back to 1988.
A big thanks to Susan Congreve who has done a wonderful job as General Manager this year, taking the role while Fiona Carter has been sailing the high seas. Susan will continue working with us in 2010 as the Milpirri Executive Officer.
Feels like lots of history is being created.
