Who taught Ned Kelly to use chopsticks and why?
What was the Queen really doing in the Tanami desert in 1954?
How did Captain Cook arrive in the red centre and who are the Sons of Cook?
All will be revealed when Tracks Dance divulges three untold Territory ‘truths’ in true Territory style! ‘The Cook, The Queen, and The Kelly’ is Tracks’ latest magical outdoor performance, set under the stars in beautiful Frog Hollow Park and featuring a cast of 30 dancers and actors. |
|
| Worlds collide, cultures connect and folklore becomes fact in this comic celebration of twisted history! ‘The Cook, The Queen, and The Kelly’ reunites comedic performers Gail Evans, Kin Leong and Yoris Wilson, last seen on stage together in Tracks’ sellout success You Dance Funny in 2007 |
|
| The performance will also showcase actor Daniel Cunningham, renowned break-dancer Nick Power (B-boy Rely), dancer Jessica Devereux, Indigenous performers from Lajamanu and a swag of talented local youth dancers. ‘The Cook, The Queen, and The Kelly’ draws on dance styles from Chinese, Irish, contemporary, hip-hop, break, and traditional Indigenous to create a cultural spectacle not to be missed! |
