Allyson Mills Born in Darwin, Allyson
is a Larrakia/Jawoyn/Gurindji/Kungarakan woman dedicated
to promoting Aboriginal culture and pride using her
artistic skills in theatre, music and project areas.
She has worked as an actress, singer, writer, dancer
and video director with organisations such as Brown’s
Mart Community Arts, Darwin Theatre Company, Festival
of Darwin, Tracks and the Aboriginal Health Education
Unit. |
Much of Allyson’s musical performances
have been with the Mills Sisters. They have supported
Tina Turner, Charlie Pride, Harry Secombe, Bullamakanka,
The Bushwackers and Archie Roach. Other interests of
Allyson’s are multicultural arts programs and
Aboriginal advancement. |
