Bec Reed,began performing with Stompin at the age of sixteen. She completed her BA at WAAPA during which time she embarked on an exchange with the Hogeschool Voor De Kunsten in Amsterdam. In 2001, Bec was an associate artist on Stompin production Placement, which featured in the inaugural Ten Days on the Island Festival directed by Robyn Archer. Bec is a founding member of Jo Pollitt’s improvisation ensemble Response and has been performing for the past two years. Bec performed in istheatreltd’s latest production White Trash Medium Rare and recently toured to India. Bec has co-directed three works for Stompin and was recently a guest artist at the Melbourne International Arts Festival.
