Emil first appeared on stage at the age of 8, with his short violin recital, which was a very scary experience, getting lost half way through, but managing to improvise his way out. Ever since then he has been entertaining.

Emil has been training, performing, and teaching in the circus world for nearly 10 years. Training with Slipstream Circus, a youth circus in Tasmania, then completing Cert IV Festive Arts (now Small Companies and Community Theatre) at VUT, Melbourne. Followed by National Circus Festival training projects, and 6 months hula-hoop training at Circus Oz.

Receiving a fellowship from the Churchill Trust, Emil will be attending Ecole Philippe Gaulier clown master classes in 2008.

Performing around Australia at festivals, markets, theatres, corporate functions, kids parties, and a brief tour with Eden Bros Circus, diverse acts including slack rope walking, clown, crystal ball manipulation, handstands, hula hoops, and unicycle. Emil has recently been working with Corrugated Iron Youth Arts, and the Australian Sports Commission “Active After-school Care” program, teaching circus skills. With Tracks Emil has performed in the 2007 Arafura Games opening Ceremony Main Act and You Dance Funny.
