Imanuel Dado |

Imanuel is an independent dancer working within the Darwin region. Originally trained in ballroom dance his current genres of dance that he have extensive knowledge in include: hip hop, break, and contemporary. |

Imanuel is the second generation of the Style Impressions Krew (S.I.K) and have had intensive mentoring from nationally recognised choreographers: Byron Low, Marko
Taopo, Tim Labarjo and Josh Mu. |
|
The professional development opportunities provided to him via his partnership with S.I.K have been invaluable and have acted as triggers for Imanuel’s further study in other genres of dance. Imanuel's extensive dance history with TRACKS and local independent dancer Gary Lang have created opportunities for Imanuel to extend his knowledge and training in dance via performances, community workshops, company based classes and festivals. |

Imanuel has been a Tracks Youth Dance Leader (2006 - 2008), and performed for them in the following projects: MR BIG, A
BOWLS CLUB WEDDING, ARAFURA GAMES OPENING CEREMONY 2005 and 2007, YOU DANCE FUNNY and the AYDF (Australian Youth Dance Festival) and The Phillipines Arts Trip. He performs the lead male dancer for their production STRUCK. |

Imanuel has worked in a range of educational venues including: St John’s, Nightcliff High, Darwin High, Kormilda College, Casuarina Senior College, O’Loughlin College, Palmerston High, and Millner Primary. He teaches in specialised areas of the community including Student with special needs at Henbury School and The Kids at Risk program at Dondale Youth Detention Centre. In 2007 Imanuel was employed as a consultant and choreographer/performer for a significant Arts Health Program JUMP!2007, which involved over 75 students aged between 6 and 25 years of age. |

During 2008 Imanuel is studying Dance Studies, a Senior Year 12 Dance Program at Darwin High School, and being mentored by Gary Lang as one of the core dancers in his collective. |
