Jenelle Saunders |

Jenelle is an independent dancer and choreographer, currently working between Darwin and Melbourne. She was introduced to dance in her early 20’s by Sarah Calver through a community dance program. She has several teaching degrees from Charles Darwin University, Darwin, and a Bachelor of Letters (Dance) from Deakin University Melbourne. |

Jenelle has a broad interest in dance and movement forms, exploring this through master classes, Bangarra dance company, Phillip Adams, Djakapurra Munyaryun, Emio Grecco, and Circus Oz) yoga, physical theatre, and performance work in Melbourne and Darwin. Her interests in aspects such as street performance, site specific, and community dance have led her to Tracks in Darwin.

Jenelle performed in the youth show MR BIG (2006) on the Shell demolition site, Darwin. In 2007 she Joined the team as choreographer and teacher on the Milpirri project in the remote Indigenous community of Lajamanu. |
