Jerry Jangala Patrick is one of the traditional
Warlpiri elders of the Lajamanu Community. He is one
of the few remaining elders that was born in the middle
of the Tanami Desert. He and Teddy Jupurrurla Morrison are the last remaining Warnayaka Warlpiri male elders
that know the true way of the Warnayaka (the central
Warlpiri tribe from the northern parts of the Tanami
Desert) Warlpiri customs. |
