Joanna Noonan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Dance), University of South Australia 1990, a Diploma of Secondary Education, NT University 1993 and a Master of Fine Arts (Choreography), University of Utah 1996.

Joanna’s choreographic resume has given her the opportunity to work locally, nationally and internationally in the contemporary dance and theatrical world creating works that include Someone Else’s Story (1994) Egrets (1996), Beautiful (2004), and Sailing (2007). She has also achieved a prolific portfolio of work in the commercial dance world securing national events including Centenary of Federation Sydney and Melbourne.

Joanna works as an independent choreographer enjoying the opportunity to collaborate with many different dancers and artists. Joanna was a guest Choreographer for the Tracks Production STRUCK.

Joanna is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter, Piper and wife of Stan Whiting, local Graphic Designer.

Joanna is working toward a major contemporary choreographic work for 2009, Tucker.
