Marko Taopo Philippines born, came to Katherine (NT) where he has trained in Tang Soo Do and ballroom. In 2001 he moved to Darwin and joined Kilos Kultura, a Filipino cultural performing group performing in Dili and Darwin. Marko has performed in Rivers of the Underground (taking the lead youth role in the 2002 production working with Gerard Veltre), Mother Daughter, Ignite, A Bowls Club Wedding, Local, FAST and Snakes, Gods and Deities.

In 2004 Mark joined Tracks as Dance Trainee, a position shared with Ausdance NT. Marko has freshly returned from winning the Stamping Ground break dancing titles in NSW. Marko will be available to lead workshops, targeting young people from Indigenous and multicultural backgrounds.
