(Formally known as Poppy Kathopoulis) Poppy has completed her Bsc (Hons) Forensic Science at London South Bank University and continues to study various courses including Building, Business, Accounts and continues to work as a volunteer at the Forensic Science Unit in Darwin.

From a young age she has taken her performing arts seriously and has involved herself in many theatre, films and dance productions. Poppy likes to give a performance with full emotion and uses her passion for performing to do this. She has been a long time actor with Corrugated Iron in which she performed her last show Fear. Poppy has worked with Betchay Mondragon in Children Of 2 Worlds & recently, The Call Of Guadalupe where she played 2 characters within the production and was on show at the Darwin Entertainment Centre.

Poppy's dance background began in Katherine where she participated in all primary school dance and acting functions and was an A+ acting student at Dripstone High School. She travelled to Darwin to gain her bronze medallion at Furlanos Dance Studio at the age on ten. She continued dancing at high school and involved herself with Corrugated Iron. Poppy was also Athletics NT Champion and has travelled the States of Australia competing in events, in particular the 100m sprint where she won gold at Home Bush Stadium at the age of 14, making her one of Australia's fastest undefeated female sprinters at the time.

Poppy participated in The Eisteddfod with Donavan Jenkins where she and Donavan impersonated Michael and Janet Jackson and won the competition with one of the highest scores ever given of 97/100 for their dynamic performance.

Poppy continued free styling in London and worked for Dance 4 me Productions at various club venues. Through this she landed a modelling contract and began photographic shoots and guest appearances at several London VIP bars and clubs. Poppy continues modelling in Darwin and was crowned Miss Hidden Valley 2005.

Poppy has choreographed pop film clips for Chrissa Valanti and has danced Freestyle for Discovery Nightclub where she was elected head dancer. Poppy aimed to create a greater respect for Darwin’s free stylers. She enjoys Fire Dancing, and has involved it in numerous acts she has performed such as Without Sea and free styling at Discovery Nightclub.

Poppy now commits herself to Tracks Dance company where she has performed in Mr Big and STRUCK. Poppy's choreographic works with Tracks include Without Sea and the Arafura Games Opening Ceremony.

Poppy assists performers with their acts, directing, choreographing and volunteers herself in the short film industry.
