Reuben has worked in the Theatre industry Since 1999. In 2008 he has been working as the house audio technician at the Theatre Royal, Hobart as well as other roles in this venue and around Hobart. His experience includes numerous lighting designs for Darwin companies including Darwin Theatre Company and Tracks Dance Company.

Shows he has designed include Darwin Theatre Company’s Not Like Beckett, Othello and Constance Drinkwater and the Final Days of Somerset and Tracks Dance Company’s Without Sea and You Dance Funny.

He has also been employed as the house audio technician at the Darwin Entertainment Centre, and in many other positions in the industry, both in Hobart and in Darwin.  Some of these include Site Logistics Manager for Palmerston Festival (2007), Production Manager for DTC’s Not Like Beckett (2007) and Constance Drinkwater and the Final Days of Somerset  (2007) and Tour Manager/Touring Technician for the Tasmanian Theatre Company’s Bombshells tour (2008).

Reuben returned to Darwin in 2008 to work as Lighting Designer and Operator for Tracks Dance Company’s Darwin Festival show, Lipstick and Ochre.
