Tristan studied at the VCA completing a Bachelor of Dramatic Art (Production) in 2005.  Since then he has worked extensively as a freelance lighting technician and operator, including Melbourne International and Comedy festival, Melbourne Puppet carnival, Adeleaide Fringe Festival and The Darwin Festival. 

Tristan also works for the Malthouse in Melbourne, is a technician at the National Gallery of Victoria and a Venue Technician for Theatreworks in St. Kilda.  Tristan has also works for Bluebottle, Chambermade Opera, TrafficLight, NYID and Chunky Move.

Tristan’s skills extend beyond lighting into the field of Audio Visual.  Most notably he was the AV technician and operator for a major production by NYID which included a tour to Seoul, Korea. Most recently Tristan has worked as the operator and technician for the Bosco Theatre in the Garden of Unearthly Delights and the Melbourne Comedy Festival and  lighting design for Venus in Furs by Elbow room.

Tristan was lighting technician for Tracks productions You Dance Funny, and STRUCK.
