Xavier was first introduced to the world of dance (and Tracks) in the 2003 production of A Bowls Club Wedding. In ensuing years, he expanded on his small dance experience by training in contemporary dance with Gary Lang and his company Baru Kadal. This led directly to festival stage performances, the most notable being Four On The Floor at the 2007 Darwin Festival. In the 2008 performance of STRUCK Xavier played a lovesick fool who rollicks hopelessly and helplessly after the leading lady, all attempts at courtship ignored.
