Fiona Carter |

Fiona has a Bachelor of Music (Australian National University – Canberra School of Music), and Masters in Cultural Policy and Management (University of Warwick, United Kingdom). She joined Tracks as General Manager in March 2006 and has extensive experience in the arts as a musician and manager. |

Fiona arrived in the Northern Territory in late 2000 and has held several positions including: Arts NT (Northern Territory Government) as Key Arts Organisations Officer, Regional Arts Development Officer in Alice Springs, and Policy Officer; Gallery Manager for Raft artspace, and; Manager for artsMARK – Darwin Joint Arts Marketing. From 1996-2000 Fiona worked in various roles in the United Kingdom including Marketing Manager - Norfolk & Norwich Festival Productions, and Marketing Assistant at Serious, London. |

She has performed as a freelance musician in Australia, including performances with Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Philharmonic, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and Phantom of the Opera. |

Fiona has a passion for Asia. In 2003 she undertook an Asialink Arts Management Residency based in Indonesia with Kelola Foundation and Gedung Kesenian Jakarta (GKJ). She also volunteered with the 2009 Mekong Delta Laboratory held by the Philippines Education Theater Association (PETA) in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The Laboratory brought together artists from Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and the Philippines. |
