Fiona Carter |

Fiona has a Bachelor of Music (Australian
National University – Canberra School of Music),and Masters in Cultural Policy and Management
(University of Warwick, United Kingdom). She joined Tracks
as General Manager in March, 2006. She has extensive experience
in the arts both as a performer (musician) and as a marketer
and manager. |

From 2001-2006, Fiona has held several
positions in the Territory, including Arts NT, (the Northern
Territory Government’s Arts funding body, Fiona
has been the Key Arts Organisations Officer, Regional
Arts Development Officer in Alice Springs and Policy
Officer). She has been Gallery Manager for Raft artspace,
and Manager for artsMARK – Darwin Joint Arts Marketing
Inc (now Top End Arts Marketing). In 2000 Fiona was Marketing
Coordinator at the Bell Shakespeare Company, Sydney.
From 1996-2000 she worked in the United Kingdom,
as: Marketing Manager - Norfolk & Norwich Festival
Productions; Personal Assistant, ‘Meltdown’ –
Royal Festival Hall, London; Marketing Assistant, Serious,
London; and Steward, Warwick Arts Centre. She has performed
as a freelance musician in Australia, including performances
with Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Philharmonic,
Australian Opera & Ballet Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony
Orchestra. |
