Jill comes to the Tracks’ Committee
of Management with significant experience in health. |

Jill started her working life as a Dental
Therapist and progressed through this career path until
she took up the concurrent roles of Northern Territory
Principal Dental Therapist and Manager of the Children’s
Dental Service within Territory Health Services in 1996. |

Jill then held the position of Manager,
Casuarina Community Care Centre (a multi-functional,
multi disciplined health service outlet) from 1996 until
1999. She was then selected as the Purchasing Director
of Community Health and Health Development (Public Health
activities) which had a major focus on service development
and contract negotiation and management with the non-government
sector. |

Jill’s most recent position (since
July 2003) is as Top End Coordinator within the Department
of Health and Community Services. This involves identifying
and coordinating possible interface issues between the
community and programs, divisions, agencies and providers. |

Jill has been in the Northern Territory
since January 1977. She is married with two daughters,
21 and 19 years. Jill holds qualifications in Dental
Therapy, Teaching, Health Promotion and Public Sector
Management. |
