Kay has been a singer and dancer since early childhood. She arrived in Darwin in 1971 where Ken Conway introduced her to the theatre. This liaison resulted in Kay performing in a revue directed by Ken. Over the years Kay has appeared in numerous productions in comedy and dramatic roles, including professional productions.

Kay has been a committee member of Darwin Theatre Company on and off over the years and is a life member of both the Darwin Theatre Company and the Cavenagh Theatre. She is presently a committee member of Cavenagh Theatre. She is also a member of the Darwin Chorale and has appeared in many productions with them.

Kay’s latest love is the Grey Panthers of which she has been a member since 1995. For Tracks she has performed in 4WD Sweat Dust and Romance, Healthy Wealthy and Wise, Bodies of Light, Reluctant Retirees, Love Vs Gravity, Dear Auntie, Fierce, A Bowls Club Wedding and Local.

Kay has been a member of Tracks’ Committee of Management for three years.
