Skye Raabe |

Skye has a Diploma in Art and Design and a Batchelor of Art in Media Arts. She has 20 years experience in the arts in a variety of roles ranging from artist assistant, research assistant, creative consultant, curator, publicist, video producer and director, administrator, project development and management, and gallery management both in the not for profit and commercial sector. |

She has a long standing commitment to Professional Development and has been trained in Indigenous Protocol, Copyright Law, Artists Working with People affected by Disability and Disadvantage, Facilitators for Support Groups, Conflict Resolution, and various other creative development programs. |

Some of her career highlights have been: The acquisition of artwork for the Northern Territory Supreme Court Permanent Collection, 1994; Public artwork commissioned for the construction phase of Federation Square in Melbourne, 1999; Invited by Djon Mundine (OAM) to observe the curatorial process and to assist in the photographic and video documentation of the installation of the MCA touring exhibition The Native Born Objects and representations from Ramingining, Arnhem Land, at the Asia Society and Museum, Manhattan, New York, USA, 2002; And Co Curator of Avalon Artists in Residence for the Museum of Brisbane 2004. And is an artist and performer in her own right. |
