Matthew James has providing event/production management and design service to the performing arts, music and film industries within the Northern Territory and interstate for over 18 years. He has specialised in servicing the vast majority of productions and events that have been produced outdoors or in unorthodox venues within the Northern Territory.

For the past 12 years Matthew has provided production management and lighting design services to Yothu Yindi Music. This has involved extensive national and international touring (Australia, U.K., Brazil, Europe, U.S.A., Sth.Africa, East Timor, China). He also works with the Yothu Yindi Foundation with production and site management for the highly successful “Garma Festival” staged annually in Northeast Arnhemland in the NT.

For the Arafura Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies in 1995, 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005 Matthew has provided event coordination, production management and design services. The Arafura Games is staged in Darwin biannually with over 28 competing countries attending, attracting up to 5000 athletes and officials.

Matthew James has consistently provided production management, tour Management and lighting design services for over 12 years for the Northern Territory’s premier performing arts company, Tracks.
