The Tracks series of Masterclasses is in Dance, Music, and Storytelling. These sessions provide professional development opportunities and are designed for individuals with some experience and a passion for the performing arts.
This exceptional arts experience in Darwin features workshops led by local industry experts and renowned instructors from our Artistic Leadership Team. This team produced "Antidote - A Remedy for Now: Dance It, Tell Stories, Listen Deep," winner of the NT Performing Arts Award for Production of the Year 2025.
Our established industry legends are:
Rachael Wallis (NAISDA graduate, ex Bangarra Dancer, Artistic Director at Miku Performing Arts, Co-Director Gapu Ŋupan Yolnu Tawain collaboration, First Nations Approaches to Choreography)
Kelly Beneforti (exceptional contemporary performer and teacher, winner of the Performer of the Year NT Performing Arts Awards 2024),
Alyson Evans (a multi-award-winning theatre maker and community artist and a prime motivator in storytelling),
James Mangohig, aka Kuya James, (an ARIA Award-winning producer and ARIA-nominated artist),
Jenelle Saunders (dance artist, teacher, and community arts worker).
Our Masterclasses provide professional and Sector development by focusing on inspiration, insight, and storytelling, designed to move beyond basic concepts, providing participants with a deeper understanding, helping to refine their skills, explore new techniques, and collaborate in a supportive environment.
While offering broad inspiration, the individual Masterclasses will focus on precise, advanced topics within the expertise of our team as our Leaders delve into the sophisticated nuances and practical application of skills that have defined their practice.

Alyson Evans - Telling Your Story. May 24th, 11 am - 1 pm
Everyone has a story to tell, and this masterclass will guide you through telling yours. Using simple prompts and stimuli, learn the tools to craft stories that move people.
Kelly Beneforti - Body Moving, Body Speaking. May 24th, 1.30 pm - 3:30 pm
Our bodies are so wise! I invite you to join me to explore the power in how we speak - through our bodies and through our words.
Jenelle Saunders - Moving Through Mapping. June 13th, 11 am - 1 pm
Play with tools to create movement by embodying ideas linked to mapping, including themes of recollection, place and human connection.
James Mangohig - How Do We Listen to Music? September 12th, 11 am - 1 pm
Through guided listening, open discussion, and hands-on creative exercises, participants will unpack the ways we consume and connect with music, from the playlists that soundtrack our lives to the rhythms that move our bodies.
Rachael Wallis - Approaches to First Nations' Dance. November 28th, 11 am - 1 pm
Country Connections. Focusing on movement that connects us to country and bringing in elements of the seasons
