Dance Story

That eagle is sitting in his nest, high in the tree. He is looking around from that nest. Then he flies around and dives on the kuyu (food) and takes it away.

The 2005 and 2014 youth dances in Milpirri, draw inspiration from the Warlawurru (Wedge-tail Eagle) Julurrpa (Dreaming). For the Eagle Dance, we were given the word mardani (protection), looking after your country
